After growing up in an agnostic, non-religious home, Michael came to faith in Jesus about the same time he graduated from high school. After majoring in many things, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and then Dallas Theological Seminary. Michael has been the lead pastor of Grace Fellowship since July 2025. In his role he focuses on biblical preaching, directional leadership, pastoral care and leadership development. Michael and his wife Leah have four children., plus three sons-in-law and a growing collection of grandchildren. He loves pick-up basketball (though he’s short and can’t jump), gummy candy, sci-fi action movies, and slowly killing houseplants. What he loves most about Grace is that it feels like family – serious about following Jesus but not too serious about ourselves.
